The adults gathered 8 times, after the sallatul- magrib, on Fridays and Sundays. We noticed that they do not come in the same number as they used to come during winter. Maybe that is due to the works on fields and their being tired. Still, there are 14 members who come on the regular basis, they recite the Qur’an and learn the letter. On Friday nights, there are approximately 25 members listening to the lectures on the Prophet’s life (sira’). We had 4 lectures on the Prophet’s life, those are the following ones:
– The beginning of the public call to Islam
– The action of the Musriks’ leaders against Muhammed, sallallahu alejhi we selem, their meeting in the wellid ibn Mugadira’s house
– Musriks’ trials to offend an belittle Muhammed saws, comparison to the nowadays events
– Maltreating of the weak and unprotected Muslims, the case of Bilal el Habesi and Jasir’s family
Also, on the recommendation of the members, we started, besides sira, to teach on the Taharet and Sallah.
