About the MYF New Muslim Group

The MYF New Muslim Group has been set up by the MYF for all Reverts to Islam (Men & Women). The aims of the New Muslim Group (MYF-NMG) are:

  • For New Muslims to meet fellow New Muslims from the Manchester area.
  • To provide a meeting place where Brothers & Sisters who have been Muslim for some time can give support & advice to those who have recently become Muslim.
  • To provide a multi-dimensional support network for all Manchester New Muslims.
  • To provide information about Islam on any area that the New Muslim wants advice on.
  • To provide a series of talks about Islam by knowledgeable people.
  • To provide New Muslims from the Manchester area an opportunity to meet up with New Muslims from the whole of the UK.

The format of the MYF New Muslim Group will be informal & friendly (tea & biscuits will be provided!). All Reverts to Islam are welcome (Men & Women).

MYF Sunday Dawaa Project

The Program is a basic Introduction to Islam for Non-Muslims  but is also useful for New Muslims.

The Program runs from 3pm till 5pm & consists of 2 parts.

  • The 1st part is an “Introduction to Islam” which is the same each week.
  • The 2nd part is an “article of faith” in Islam. The 6 articles of faith in Islam are covered in a sequential 6 week cycle which repeats itself. The 6 articles of faith are, “Allah, Angels, Books, Messengers, Day of Judgement, Predestination”.

We would like as many people as possible to bring along a Non-Muslim friend or family member inshAllah.

Free food & refreshments are provided at the event for all attendees.
