The New Muslim Group Meeting: Thursday 3rd of July 2025 between 07:00 – 09:00pm.

The MYF is delighted to announce that our popular and well-established new Muslim group meeting will be on this Thursday 3rd of July 2025 inshallah 07:00 – 09:00pm hosted by Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain and Sheikh Asad Zaman.
Please spread the word for old & new reverts to join us.
For those not familiar with the group and also for new reverts here’s what the group is all about:
– For New Muslims to meet fellow New Muslims from the Manchester area. -To provide a meeting place where Brothers & Sisters who have been Muslim for some time can give support & advice to those who have recently become Muslim. -To provide a multi-dimensional support network for all Manchester New Muslims. -To provide information about Islam on any area that the New Muslim wants advice on. -To provide a series of talks about Islam by knowledgeable people. -To provide New Muslims from the Manchester area an opportunity to meet up with New Muslims from the whole of the UK. The format of the MYF New Muslim Group will be informal & friendly (tea & biscuits will be provided!).
All Reverts to Islam are welcome (Men & Women). MEETINGS – FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 7PM-9PMAT THE MUSLIM YOUTH FOUNDATION

It is with deep sorrow that the Muslim Youth Foundation announces the passing of one of its founding members and long-standing trustees, Hajji Arshad Ahmed, who passed away this morning.
Hajji Arshad Ahmed was among the earliest pioneers who helped establish the Muslim Youth Foundation (MYF) over forty years ago. He dedicated his life to serving Islam and supporting the Muslim community in Manchester and across the UK. His sincere efforts, leadership, and vision helped shape the foundation and countless initiatives that continue to impact lives to this day.
He was a devoted husband to Balqees and a cherished father to Zahda, Anjum, Yasmin, Farouk, Amar, and Sahra.
We pray that Allah Almighty forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, grants him a place among the righteous in the highest ranks of Jannah, and brings comfort and patience to his loved ones.
Unfortunately the New Muslim group meeting will not be on this April due to Eid celebrations & the shake being unavailable. Our sincere apologies in advance and insha’Allah it will

Alhamdulilah we are delighted to announce that Eid Al-Fitr will be Sunday 30th March
1st Prayer – 8:00am
2nd Prayer – 10:30am
Fitrana is £7 per person for each household and should be payed before the Eid prayer begins. Please visit our main office or masjid to make payment.
Please arrive early as we expect to be very busy and please be mindful of worshippers when entering and leaving the masjid, khair inshallah.
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Sa’ib said:“I attended the ‘Eid prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He led us in offering the ‘Eid prayer, then he said: ‘I have finished the prayer. Whoever wants to sit (and listen to) the sermon, then let him sit, and whoever wants to leave, then let him leave.’”
As we reach the last 10 days of Ramadan Alhamdulilah the MYF will be conducting Tahajjud prayers beginning at 2:45am from tonight insha’allah Khair it will be approximately 1 hour followed by suhoor.
Let’s tighten up our belts as did he our beloved prophet(pbuh) and make the intention to stay up and make the most of these last precious nights seeking Laylat al-Qadr insha’allah (the night of power) May Allah SWT grant us this huge blessing.

Assalamu’alaikum Wa Rahmatu Allahi Wa Barakaatoh,Ramadan 2025The Muslim Youth Foundation is pleased to announce that the holy month of Ramadan 1446 will start Tomorrow Saturday 1st March 2025 In Shaa Allah. We will start praying Taraweeh Prayer from tonight after Isha prayer In Shaa AllahIsha Prayer at 08:00pm followed by Taraweeh In Shaa Allah. We ask Allah (Ta’ala) to make us witness this month of Ramadan with goodness and security. May Allah give us the strength to fast Ramadan days and pray its nights and to worship Him as He pleases(Ramadan Mubarak for every one and May Allah make this a blessed month for all of us!
Abu Hurairah narrated that:
the Prophet said: “The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday.”
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا وَلاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلاَّ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ ” . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ وَسَلْمَانَ وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ وَسَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ وَأَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
