The New Muslim Group Meeting:
Thursday 7th September 2023
between 07:00 – 09:00pm.
Assalamu’alaikum dear brothers & sisters, The MYF is delighted to announce that our popular and well-established new Muslim group meeting will be on Thursday 7th September 2023 inshallah 07:00 – 09:00pm hosted by Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain.
Please spread the word for old & new reverts to join us. For those not familiar with the group and also for new reverts here’s what the group is all about:
– For New Muslims to meet fellow New Muslims from the Manchester area.
-To provide a meeting place where Brothers & Sisters who have been Muslim for some time can give support & advice to those who have recently become Muslim.
-To provide a multi-dimensional support network for all Manchester New Muslims.
-To provide information about Islam on any area that the New Muslim wants advice on.
-To provide a series of talks about Islam by knowledgeable people.
-To provide New Muslims from the Manchester area an opportunity to meet up with New Muslims from the whole of the UK. The format of the MYF New Muslim Group will be informal & friendly (tea & biscuits will be provided!).
All Reverts to Islam are welcome (Men & Women).

In the build up to the blessed month of Ramadan The Myf implores everyone to donate whatever they can to help support us in the running costs and management of our beloved Masjid which has been a beacon of light in Manchester City centre for many decades now.
We rely on your donations to ensure we can always inshallah be here to support the local community and provide a place of worship for our diverse and blessed worshippers. It is critical at this time of year that we prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan and what better way than supporting your local Masjid. So please give what you can!
Allah the almighty says – “Worship none but Allah. treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practice regular charity” (2:83).

The MYF is a registered charity and we can only function with your support and help, whether it be fund raising or online donations every penny helps towards the running costs of the Masjid. The MYF has been a beacon of light in Manchester City centre for many decades helping not just the Muslim community but also building bridges with the wider community and our doors are open to everybody!
As Muslims, we love to give for the sake of Allah, and to help our Ummah, but Allah also promised great practical reward and protection for giving charity and the benefits of supporting your local Masjid.
“Those who spend in charity will be richly rewarded” (Quran 57:10)
We implore you to donate however small or big the donation is Allah will not decrease your accounts! The reward is huge to help maintain and run a Masjid for the sake of Allah!
“Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs,” (Bukhari)
It is truly a wonderful blessing to have enough to be able to give, and with this act, our blessings are multiplied, and our Charity will be a protection against the calamity we face in our own lives inshallah.
